The annual congress of the National Woolgrowers’ Association is a showcase of the NWGA’s operations and policies. Taking place at the Pine Lodge Resort in Port Elizabeth on 1 & 2 June 2022 and themed “Back to the Future", the programme includes international speaker Giovanni Schneider from the Schneider Group, address industry matters relating to sustanabile standards, economical study groups and tap into the views of Brokers and Buyers.

Guest speaker, Johann Kirsten is a professor and director of the Bureau for Economic Research (BER) at the University of Stellenbosch.  He previously occupied the position of Prof. Agricultural Economics and Head of Department:  Agricultural Economics Extension and Rural Development, at the University of Pretoria, for 20 years.
