The annual congress of the National Woolgrowers’ Association is a showcase of the NWGA’s operations and policies.  Taking place at the Pine Lodge Resort in Port Elizabeth on 12 & 13 June 2024 and themed “Sustainable Wool Sheep Production", the programme includes international speaker Dalena White from IWTO and Johann Kotzé, Agri SA, to address industry matters relating to sustanabile standards, which will tap into the perspectives of Producers, Brokers and Buyers. 

Guest speaker, Wandile Sihlobo, Chief Economist of the Agricultural Business Chamber of SA (Agbiz) will grace the NWGA platform and share his outlook on the performance of SA's agricultural sector.  He is also author of 2 books, namely "A Country of Two Agricultures:  the Disparities, the Challenges, the Solutions" (2023) and "Finding Common Ground:  Land, Equity and Agriculture" 2020.
